What You'll Be Doing
This is a mercy missions trip — coming alongside Operation Serve International to go into the outer suburbs of Mexico City, bringing optical, medical, dental, hair, and nails services, along with children's ministry, to local churches.
These outreach events are for the surrounding communities: people come in and are served by the team, and while that's happening, the local church's prayer partners share the message of the Gospel with every person served. At the end of the week, the outreach stats and contact information are handed to the pastor of that church — so they can follow up with everyone who attended and plug them into the life of that church going forward.
This isn't just a service trip — it's designed to leave a lasting connection between the people served and the local church long after your team goes home.

Who Can Go
- Must be 16 or older (if under 18, a legal guardian must travel with you)
- Must have been attending Revival Temple regularly for at least 6 months
- Must complete and be approved through a Missions Application
Cost: $1,775 total

Note: Airline tickets are purchased May 5 — payments need to stay on schedule to lock in the group flight.

FAQ
Do I need to know Spanish?
No — translators are typically provided through the local partner churches, though basic phrases are always a plus.
What if I'm not medically trained — can I still help with the medical/optical outreach?
Yes, these trips typically need non-medical volunteers for check-in, prayer, kids' activities, and logistics alongside licensed medical/optical staff.
What if I don't have a passport yet?
Apply for one immediately — passports can take several weeks to months to process, and this trip requires a current one.
Can I fundraise for the cost?
The church doesn't run fundraisers for mission trips, but you're welcome to do your own fundraising separately to help cover the cost.
What happens if I have to drop out?
It depends on timing:
- Before the airline ticket is purchased (May 5): You'll get back any money that hasn't already been sent to the mission ministry for deposits.
- After the airline ticket is purchased: You'll receive an airline credit rather than a refund from the church, since that portion of the cost has already been committed.
